Town Of Huntington Closes Crab Meadow Golf Course, Tennis Courts
The Town closed the properties on Monday due to the new coronavirus.
TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, NY — Crab Meadow Golf Course, an 18-hole course in Northport, and all Town of Huntington tennis courts will be closed indefinitely, starting Monday, due in part to the new coronavirus, Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci announced.
"On Monday, Crab Meadow Golf Course will be closed due to staffing issues and tennis courts will be added to our Parks closures," Lupinacci said. "Thank you in advance for your cooperation as we all do our part to prevent the spread of the coronavirus."
Crab Meadow Golf Course had re-opened March 28, along with Dix Hills Park Golf Course, with safety measures taken to protect golfers and staff. Town officials reversed course Sunday, as the Dix Hills golf course was also closed, according to the Town of Huntington website.

Officials ask residents to report unsafe behavior on Town properties to Public Safety's 24-Hour Emergency Hotline at 631-351-3234, which will lead to a response by patrols.
