A Transformation for Northport VA Medical Center

The Northport VA Medical Center will get some TLC Wednesday, thanks to a partnership with The Home Depot’s volunteer force.

Many of the volunteers are also veterans, and they will help renovate several areas of the medical center property.

Renovated areas will include the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Garden courtyard, Mental Health Building and PTSD residential unit.

The project work is part of The Home Depot’s fourth annual Celebration of Service, where volunteers transform more than 1,000 homes for veterans across the country from 9/11 to Veterans Day.
