Underprivileged Northport-Area Family to Get Special Thanksgiving Donation

The donation was provided by the Northport Police Department and the Northport Stop and Shop on Monday.

Everyone deserves a plentiful Thanksgiving, even the ones who can’t afford it.

The Northport Police Department partnered with the Northport Stop & Shop to present a Thanksgiving donation on Monday to a local food pantry that looks to help the less fortunate.

The donation to the Northport-East Northport Ecumenical Lay Council Food Pantry will be used to provide an underprivileged family in the community with a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the fixings.
