Veterans Honored At East Northport Bristal

The veterans received proclamations from Suffolk County Legislator Susan Berland.

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — Veterans living at the Bristal Assisted Living Community in East Northport were honored during their Annual Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony. Suffolk County Legislator Susan A. Berland, who serves as chairwoman of the Legislature’s Veterans Committee, presented proclamations to each veteran.

Those honored served in various branches of the U.S. military during varied conflicts and wars.

"It was my privilege to present residents of The Bristal who have worn the uniform of our military with county proclamations," Berland said via press release. "This annual ceremony ensures that the heroism and service of our community’s veterans continue to be honored and recognized."
