William Mondelli Places Second for Age Group in Tobay Triathlon
Mondelli, 64, of East Northport excels at the Runner's Edge TOBAY Triathlon and Tri-Relay presented by Engel Burman.

William Mondelli of East Northport recently took his talents to Oyster Bay for the Runner’s Edge TOBAY Triathlon and Tri-Relay presented by Engel Burman where he placed second in the 60-64 male age group.
On an overcast morning with periods of rain, more than 350 competitors tested their strength and endurance on the Long Island course which was managed by the Greater Long Island Road Running Club. The competition included a ½ mile swim in Oyster Bay Harbor, a 12.3K hilly bike ride through Oyster Bay and Oyster Bay Cove, and a 5K run past Mill Neck and Brookville.
Mondelli, 64, completed the triathlon in 1:05:09, earning a trophy in the 60-64 male age division, which consisted of 22 total athletes. Full results from the triathlon can be viewed here.
