NORTHPORT, NY — Witches and warlocks descended on Northport Village last month as residents and visitors gathered for an annual Halloween-themed event celebrating local businesses.

The Witches and Warlocks Walk on Main, hosted by Signature Premier Properties and the Northport Chamber of Commerce, took place Oct. 21, bringing costumed guests to downtown Northport for an evening of shopping, dining and Halloween festivities.

Participating shops, restaurants and businesses along Main Street offered seasonal specials, exclusive discounts and giveaways throughout the evening.

Signature Premier Properties and the Northport Chamber of Commerce plan to bring the Witches and Warlocks Walk on Main back next year.

"Small businesses are the heart of Northport Village, and this walk puts them front and center," said Kathy Viard, co-owner of Signature Premier Properties. "Every guest who stepped into a shop or sat down for dinner supported a neighbor. That energy fills Main Street during the Halloween season and carries into the weeks ahead."
