10 Arrests During Nov. 29 DWI Road Check

The Clarkstown police and the Rockland County Sheriff's Office worked jointly in West Nyack.

A DWI Road Check from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Nov. 29 netted eight DWI arrests.

The Clarkstown Police Department’s initiative was supplemented by resources and personnel from the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department, police said.

One of the DWI charges was felony level, because Lisa Johansen, 24, of Nyack, had a prior drunk-driving conviction.
