$2K Worth Of Cosmetics: Shoplifting Charge In West Nyack
An Orange County woman is accused of trying to steal from Sephora.

WEST NYACK, NY — The Clarkstown Police Department responded to Sephora at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of shoplifting. The suspect, Alyssa Roberts, 29, of Montgomery, NY, reportedly was observed by a loss prevention employee taking merchandise valued at $2,216.
The merchandise consisted of various cosmetic items.
Roberts was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. She was charged with grand larceny 4th(felony) and criminal possession of stolen property 5th (misdemeanor). Roberts was released on an appearance ticket. She will return to court on Jan. 8, 2018.
