2nd NYPD Officer Released from Hospital
Stony Point resident Andrew Dossi was injured in a shoot-out in the Bronx Jan. 5

The second of two New York City police officers, both Rockland residents, injured in a shoot-out in the Bronx Jan. 5, has been released from the hospital.
Andrew Dossi of Stony Point was released Jan. 16 from Mount Sinai. Aliro Pellarano of Garnerville was released from St. Barnabas Hospital Jan. 7.
Dossi is a graduate of North Rockland High School and Rockland Community College, an 8-year veteran of the NYPD, and a veteran of the Iraq war, his father Joseph Dossi told reporter Steve Lieberman of The Journal News.
