Annual Cooking Class Fundraiser for Cancer Fighters is April 14 in Orangeburg

That intrepid team of cancer-fighters, the Brest Buddies, will participate again this fall in the 2-day, 26-mile Avon walk around Manhattan to raise money for research into causes and cures for breast cancer.

The group of 12 Rockland County residents have raised tens of thousands of dollars in 10 years on the walk.

You can help them fundraise by attending their annual John Carollo Italian Cooking class at Del Arte’s in Orangeburg on April 14.

On their poster, the Brest Buddies promise the Cooking Class will include a 3-course meal, lots of wine to sip on, and fun extras:

• a cooking demonstration by Sicily’s answer to George Clooney (John Carollo)
• waiter service by Sheriff’s Deputies
• songs by the latest manifestation of the Sheriff’s “Jersey Boys”
