Brooklyn Man Faces Burglary Charge In Nyack

He broke open a locked door with a pry bar, police said.

NYACK, NY — A Brooklyn man faces burglary charges in Nyack after a break-in at a building on North Broadway.

Orangetown police said they received a report at 10:50 a.m. Friday that someone was breaking into a building with a pry bar. When they arrived, they said, they discovered the lock on the front door was broken and Terry M. McInerney was inside.

The 31-year-old was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony; plus misdemeanor charges of trespass, criminal mischief, and possession of burglars' tools.
