Bucky Dent Visits Chemo Patients at Nyack Hospital

The former Yankee All-Star brought gifts of bags and blankets from Embraced with Love, the charity founded by his late wife Marianne.

Bucky Dent, former New York Yankee All-Star and two-time World Series Champion, visited Nyack Hospital Monday to talk with patients undergoing chemotherapy.

He presented patients at The Infusion Center with bags and blankets from Embraced with Love.

Embraced with Love is a program sponsored by Legends on the Links, a philanthropic, non-profit organization founded by Dent and his longtime friend Larry Hoskin. The organization is dedicated to providing support to various charities and community organizations in need.

Dent’s wife, Marianne, started Embraced with Love, to provide blankets and bags to cancer patients as a way to offer love, comfort and support as they navigate through their personal journey with cancer. Marianne Dent passed away on Oct. 22, 2015 after a 19-month battle with brain cancer.
