Busy Tomorrow? Join Central Nyack Clean-Up Event

Or there's State Sen. David Carlucci's Adopt-a-Road project, listed among Keep Rockland Beautiful's events this weekend.

In honor of Earth Day, Senator David Carlucci (D–Rockland/Westchester) will be hosting a roadside cleanup starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 25.

Volunteers meet at Dr. Davies’ Farm Stand, at 306 Route 304 in Congers.

“I have always enjoyed Earth Day,” Carlucci said. “In school we would often participate in fun activities that would show how easy it is to contribute to making our Earth a healthier place. As State Senator, I know how important it is to protect our environment with legislation, but that will only bring us so far, sometimes you need to roll up your sleeves and get to work.”
