Wednesday Games
Doors open at 5:40 pm and play starts at 7:30 pm. Bingo games are open to the public.
Packages are priced at $42, $35 and $25 plus $3 admission. They contain nine games with other games available for purchase including Pull Tabs, Quickies, two progressive bonanza jackpots and nightly specials. Games end at approximately 10 pm.
All game boards are paper with electronic verification. Pre-packaged snacks, beverages and bingo supplies are available for purchase.

Bingo is played in Beth Am Temple’s climate-controlled, ground-level social hall which has cushioned seating. The room is brightly lit and has its own sound system. The building is handicapped accessible with a well-lit parking lot.

If you know <a href="https://open.spotify.com/artist/4tMcZ6q43cH5AbKk3mrdSi" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Fugs</a>, you’re going to love Chuck Smith’s brand new documentary “Fugs Film!” And even if you don’t, but you have an interest in 1960s culture, you’ll need to see this film.&nbsp;- Bob Krasner, AMNYFormed in New York’s bohemian Lower East Side in 1964, the Fugs were poet musicians who didn’t just reflect their time, they nurtured it. Using musical satire to explore boundaries of free speech and antagonize the establishment, they ignited an idea that was soon taken up by groups such as The Mothers of Invention (Freak Out!), Country Joe and the Fish (“It Feels Like I’m Fixin’ to Die Rag”), and the MC5 (the pre-punk house band of the White Panthers). Founded by Ed Sanders, a principal figure of the ‘60s counter culture and proprietor of the Peace Eye Bookstore in the East Village (a community gathering place where he was arrested for obscenity), along with fellow poet and artist Tuli Kupferberg, who was immortalized in Allen Ginsberg’s HOWL as the person "who jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge and walked away unknown and forgotten,” and drummer Ken Weaver, the Fugs connected a folkie ethos to rock and roll and sound collage, and at times tapped the zeitgeist with popular hits like “Slum Goddess” and “Supergirl.” The story of the Fugs is the story of a wildly unusual time and place that is still resonating.

Morton Gould’s “American Salute” uses the melody “When Johnny Comes Marching Home,” for a salute to America’s World War II allies.

Charles Ives’ “Variations on ‘America’” presents that familiar piece in an entirely new way, as only Ives’ imagination could invent.
African-American composers are well-represented on the program. ESO presents W.C. Handy’s swinging “St. Louis Blues,” Florence Price’s soulful Concert Overture No. 2” and William Grant Still’s blues-haunted “Afro-American Symphony.”
ESO’s late Music Director, William Eckfeld, composed “Fanfare for Hackley” for brass choir, in honor of the orchestra’s participation in Diller Hall’s inaugural season.
