The benefits of mindfulness meditation are backed by extensive scientific research, demonstrating its effectiveness in cultivating present-moment awareness, improving concentration, reducing stress and anxiety, and enhancing emotional regulation and resilience. This class will be led by a Zen monk who brings a unique perspective shaped by 20 years of U.S. Army service as a combat veteran. Currently serving as the Buddhist Chaplain at the U.S. Military Academy and as a guiding meditation teacher at Bulkwang Zen Center, the instructor offers practical tools grounded in both ancient wisdom and real-world experience. Join us in this supportive environment to explore how mindfulness can bring greater peace, clarity, and balance to your life.&nbsp;

Doors open at 5:40 pm and play starts at 7:30 pm. Bingo games are open to the public.
Packages are priced at $42, $35 and $25 plus $3 admission. They contain nine games with other games available for purchase including Pull Tabs, Quickies, two progressive bonanza jackpots and nightly specials. Games end at approximately 10 pm.
All game boards are paper with electronic verification. Pre-packaged snacks, beverages and bingo supplies are available for purchase.

Bingo is played in Beth Am Temple’s climate-controlled, ground-level social hall which has cushioned seating. The room is brightly lit and has its own sound system. The building is handicapped accessible with a well-lit parking lot.

Come for Fun - One-Week Sessions: Aug. 17-21 &amp; Aug. 24-28We'll play the classic CST theatre games, learn vocal exercises, improv, clowning, outdoor fun, and speak the speeches. These one-week sessions are perfect for ages 8-12.

Prepare to Play - Two-Week Session: Aug. 17-28
Prepare to Play students will take the next step and bring to life full scenes from Shakespeare plays in a final performance. This two-week session is perfect for ages 8-12.
Teen Troupe Shakespeare Intensive - Two-Week Session: Aug. 17-28
A two-week intensive acting workshop ending in a public performance. This two-week session is perfect for ages 13-18.

<ul><li>Ages 8 – 18 years</li><li>Location: Congregation Sons of Israel, 300 North Broadway, Nyack, NY</li><li>The second week of the Teen program will be held at Marydell Faith &amp; Life Center (640 N Midland Ave, Nyack).</li><li>Dates: 8/17-28, 10am-4pm each day, 7pm performance on 8/28 for the Teens</li><li>Strictly limited to 20 children</li><li>Children will bring their own vegetarian bag lunch</li><li>Tuition: $675 per week.</li><li>Deposit: $300 to secure a spot.&nbsp; Balance due by July 31, 2026. (Due to the popularity of our programs, tuition is non-refundable unless there is a documented serious illness or positive Covid test (child or family member). </li><li>We accept: Check, all major credit cards, and e-check</li><li>Scholarship opportunities may be available for those with financial need.
