Rockland Cold Case: Woman Missing Eight Years
Police still hope to solve the disappearance of the Central Nyack resident headed to New York City looking for her lost twin.

CENTRAL NYACK, NY — The Clarkstown Detective Bureau’s Cold Case Unit is looking for any information in regards to a missing Central Nyack woman who hasn’t been seen in eight years. Sandy Nurse’s last contact with family was that she was getting on a bus to New York City to locate her twin sister, Candy Nurse.
Her family came to the Clarkstown Police Headquarters eight years ago to report that Sandy was missing.
Sandy Nurse would be 38 years old now. Her height is about 5’03” and she weighed about 120 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. Her family stated that she had been diagnosed as bi-polar schizophrenic.
