He removed it from a local hospital, police said.

NYACK, NY – A car taken from a local hospital without the owner's permission was involved in a one-car accident on the Garden State Parkway Thursday, police said. The incident led to the arrest of a Pearl River resident.
At about 8:30 p.m. April 13, State Police investigated a one car motor vehicle accident on the Parkway. They say they found out that the driver, Luigi E. Depasquale, 42, of Pearl River, NY took a car from a local hospital without the owner’s permission right before he was involved in that single-car motor vehicle accident.
Depasquale was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown where he was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3th Degree, a Class D Felony.
