Cops Say Nanuet Man Slashed Tires, Threatened Victims In Nyack

He was arrested without incident, police said.

NYACK, NY — A Nanuet man faces charges in Nyack village court after an incident Wednesday.

Orangetown police said they were called to North Midland Avenue at 7:52 p.m. Oct. 9. Two people said during a dispute they had been menaced with a knife by a man who also slashed three tires on their vehicle.

Police searched the area for Leonard D. Williams, 25, and found him nearby. He was taken to Orangetown Police Headquarters and charged with felony criminal mischief; menacing; and criminal possession of a weapon.
