Crash On South Broadway Leads To DWI Charge
Police said the car hit a stop sign and utility pole.

UPPER GRANDVIEW, NY — A Nyack man faces charges of driving while intoxicated after a one-car crash at 1:13 a.m. Dec. 11. Orangetown police said the accident took place on South Broadway near the Route 9W intersection.
The car left the road and hit both a stop sign and a utility pole. Police said they gave the driver, Juan Moran-Mazariego, several field sobriety tests and a breathalyzer test, all of which he failed.
The 30-year-old is due in Orangetown town court Dec. 20.
