Don't Miss: Nyack Jazz Week Kicks Off Sunday

The event hosted by The Rockland County Jazz & Blues Society is bringing a lot of great music to the Hudson Valley.

NYACK, NY — Nyack Jazz Week kicks off Sunday with a free outdoor concert featuring five bands.

Hosted by The Rockland County Jazz & Blues Society, the event runs to July 23 at various venues in and around the village, including the Turning Point, the garden of the Edward Hopper House, and Maureen's Jazz Cellar.

From 1-5 p.m. Sunday, performing outside the Jazz Cellar on North Broadway between Main and New streets, will be:

  • The David Budway / Ron Affif Quartet - Post-Bop
  • Mr. Gone - Playing the music of Weather Report
  • Ahlfabet Swing Band - 20's and 30's Swing music
  • Coby Petricone-Berg Quartet - Contemporary Jazz
  • Vanessa Day & Yasu - Gospel
