Don't Miss: Piermont's Annual Apple Pie Contest is Sunday

The first Sunday in autumn approaches, and with it the annual Piermont Apple Pie Contest.

There is still to register! Bakers ready to bring their apple pie skills can register online with the Piermont Chamber of Commerce. You may also bring your entry in person to the market on contest day.

Contest organizers will accept apple pies for the contest until 11 am. It costs $5 to enter.

We already have some fabulous talent lined up to compete. But don’t let that scare you away - 2015 may be your year! You’ll gain glory AND a gift basket full of prizes from numerous Piermont businesses.

So go this Sunday to the Piermont Farmers Market on the corner of Ash Street and Piermont Avenue in downtown Piermont. Judging will begin at 11 am.

And you can sip a fresh coffee from the newest market vendor, XQuisite Coffee, while you witness the judging!
