DWI In Nyack: State Police
State police from the Haverstraw barracks were out Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

NYACK, NY — Over the weekend, New York State Police in Troop F charged 32 motorists with driving while impaired. Their list included a Brooklyn woman arrested in Nyack by troopers from the Haverstraw barracks:
- On June 22, state police arrested Christine Vasquez, 32 of Pomona for DWI. She was traveling on Interstate 87 in Clarkstown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
- On June 23, state police arrested Standly Pierre, 30 of Spring Valley for DWI. He was traveling on the Palisades Parkway in Clarkstown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
- On June 23, state police arrested Sasha Stepnoi, 18 of Brooklyn for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 59 in the village of Nyack when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
- On June 24, state police arrested Jose Negron, 26 of Tompkins Cove for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9W in West Haverstraw when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
