Eager for Fireworks? How about June 28?

The Town of Ramapo holds its annual Celebration of Liberty and Pride featuring fireworks display from 5:30-9:30 p.m. June 28.

The festivities start with music by Kick Start Charlie and the Lynn Christopher Band. Food and snacks will be available for purchase.

And just in case: the rain date for fireworks only is 8 p.m. June 29.

WHERE: Rockland Community College, 145 College Road, Suffern.

It’s the first of several fireworks displays in Rockland County around the Fourth of July.

• July 1: Clarkstown. music starts at 6 p.m. Nanuet High School.
• July 2: Haverstraw, at Bowline Point Park. 9 p.m.
• July 3: Boulders Stadium, after the game
• July 4 Nyack, 8:30 p.m., Memorial Park
• July 4: Boulders Stadium, after the game

And you could also watch the displays across the river—Ossining’s is July 2; Peekskill, Sleepy Hollow and Yonkers are July 4.
