Eagle Court of Honor for Christopher Thomas Kenny

2015 begins with a new Eagle Scout in Rockland County!

An Eagle Court of Honor was held Jan. 4 for Christopher Thomas Kenny.

For his Eagle project, Kenny remodeled the Midnight Run Room at Immaculate Conception Church, where Deacon John Sadowski leads groups from Rockland into the city to feed and clothe the homeless.

Kenny—with the help, he said, of many volunteers from Troop 10 and generous donations from the community—emptied the room, cleaned the floor, painted the walls and ceiling, built shelves, sorted the clothes and packed them into bins and onto the shelves. 

Many gathered at the David Roche Firehouse in Garnerville to salute this young man and his tremendous accomplishment.
