EMS Awards to Nyack MD, South Orangetown Youth Squad

The Hudson Valley Regional EMS Council recognized Dr. Mark Papish, emergency room physician at Nyack Hospital, as “Physician of Excellence” and Cassidy Hubert, Stony Point Volunteer Ambulance Corps, as “Youth Member of the Year.”

Additionally, the South Orangetown EMS Youth Squad, “The Coders,” won top honors in the 10th annual Rockland County EMS Youth Competition.

County Executive Day and Rockland’s Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert presented the awards at the Stony Point Volunteer Ambulance Corps on Route 9W on June 23.

“On behalf of all Rockland residents, I thank our EMS providers for your dedication to ensure our health and safety around the clock,” Day said.
