Enrollment Opens for NY State Health Insurance
The Rockland County Health Department has trained, multi-linguists to help residents navigate the state Marketplace.

Nov. 1 begins the open-enrollment period for health care coverage through the NY State of Health Marketplace.
Rockland officials remind residents that if you haven't signed up for health insurance you can enroll for coverage that starts in January 2017. If you're already signed up, you may renew or change your policy between Nov. 16 and Dec. 15, 2016.
"We encourage residents to sign up for health insurance and renew their current coverage. The Health Department's Navigators can help you sign up for health insurance for yourself and your children, and give you the peace of mind that access to health care brings," said County Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert.
