Escalating Argument Leads To Charges For Nyack Man

He's due in village court to answer an assault charge.

NYACK, NY — Orangetown Police arrested a Nyack man about midnight Friday after an escalating argument led to an assault.

Police said Nicholas J. Perez, 27, was involved in an argument with a female family member. When things got heated, he allegedly punched her several times in the head and neck.

He was arrested at the scene and released after posting $300 bail. He is due in Nyack Village Court at a later date to answer the charge of third-degree assault.
