Falco Opens Campaign for Re-Election as Rockland County Sheriff
The Blauvelt resident held a kick-off event last night in Nanuet.
Sheriff Louis Falco announced his intention to run for re-election as Sheriff of Rockland County last night.
Supporters gathered at his campaign kick-off, held at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Nanuet.
“Sheriff Louis Falco knocked it out of the park. Hundreds joined us to kick off the campaign,” the Rockland Democratic Committee posted on its Facebook page.

During the event Clarkstown Town Supervisor Alex Gromack took the podium to announce his endorsement.
“Thank you to all who attended tonight’s campaign kick off. Your support is greatly appreciated,” Falco wrote on his Sheriff Louis Falco Facebook page.

Falco was elected Rockland County Sheriff in 2011 on the Democrat and Working Families lines after 33 years in the department where he rose from dispatcher to Chief of the Police Division. He won a three-way race.
He lives in Blauvelt.
