Forum Set On Montefiore Nyack Hospital Expansion
Hospital officials will describe the project and answer questions.

NYACK, NY — Representatives from Montefiore Nyack Hospital host a public informational meeting about the Hospital’s Care Transformation Project Feb. 5, which is due to be completed this year.
The project, which began in 2018 includes the construction of a two-story addition which will double the size of the existing Emergency Department and add more program space on the second floor. The construction includes renovating and reconfigurating existing space in the current Emergency Department, hospital lobby and adjacent corridors. There's a parking deck too.
The addition of an adjacent urgent care center aims to provide patients with non-emergent conditions a more appropriate level of ambulatory care and access to primary care providers, reducing unnecessary visits to the ER.
