Free Cancer Screenings for Women Friday at Nyack Hospital

Uninsured or underinsured women aged 40 and up are eligible for certain exams.

The Breast Center at Nyack Hospital will be providing free clinical breast exams, mammograms, and if needed, pelvic exams with PAP tests for uninsured or underinsured women, ages 40 and over from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. June 26.

The free cancer screenings are co-hosted Nyack Hospital and Senator by David Carlucci (D – Rockland/Westchester).

“Breast cancer is the second most deadly form of cancer for women,” said Carlucci in a prepared statement. “As a community, it is critical we provide women with the tools they need for early detection and treatment. In previous years, the professional, hard working staff of Nyack Hospital has saved lives at our screenings, and I look forward to another successful event.”

Early detection and treatment saves lives.”
