Free Tickets Available for 2016 High Holiday Services Near Nyack

at participating synagogues in Rockland County

WEST NYACK, NY, – Free tickets to High Holiday services at Rockland County Board of Rabbis’ synagogues are now available to qualifying households, Jewish Federation & Foundation of Rockland County officials announced.

Tickets are available for Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah Day 1, Rosh Hashanah Day 2, Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur.

The free ticket offer is made possible by the Rockland Jewish Initiative (RJI), a program of the Jewish Federation. Cantor Barry Kanarek, Director of the Rockland Jewish Initiative is administering the program.

“This is the third year that Federation has partnered with the Rockland County Board of Rabbis to offer free High Holiday tickets," Kanarek said. "Our goal is to make it easy for families who might be new to the area – or new to Judaism – to celebrate our most important holy days as part of a congregation.”

To qualify for the free tickets, applicants must not have been a member of a Rockland County Board of Rabbis synagogue for the past two years or purchased High Holiday tickets in Rockland County for the past two years.
