Freezing Rain to Kick off Work Week Weather in Nyack

The Tuesday morning commute around Piermont could be slippery, but then conditions change.

NYACK, NY — We'll start off the work week with winter-y conditions that could cause some problems during Tuesday's morning commute; but then we move into a January thaw.

After the remnant of the ice storm that bedeviled the Midwest this weekend passes through, we'll see warmer temps in the Hudson Valley.

“For many areas, this warm-up will be similar to the January thaw that happened last week,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Thompson said. “The main difference is that this warm-up could last almost a week instead of a couple of days.”
