The artistic offerings have been culled from My Own Little Gallery’s first year of exhibitions and include works in seven different media: acrylic, pastel, photography, collage, oils. pencil and sculpture. Also on view is a display of gallery owner Elaine Schloss’s powerful acrylic, expressionist nudes in the permanent gallery.
“It’s been an amazing inaugural year,” says Schloss. “With 21 talented artists, the little gallery packed a big punch. For this show, I selected a retrospective sampling of the great talent I have been fortunate to represent over the past twelve months. Plus, the artwork is displayed among an eclectic, affordable array of what I call ‘uniquities’—unique treasures, big and little, from vintage jewelry, to figurines, pottery, art glass, dolls, toys and games. With affordable art to be loved for a lifetime, or a unique antique treasure, I sought to offer a selection of gift-giving solutions.”
