Katonah Firm Gets Coveted NY Medical Marijuana License

Etain LLC, founded by Katonah resident Amy Peckham, is one of five companies to receive a dispensary license for medical marijuana, according to Etain and reports.

The Chester-based company, which proudly bills itself as “a women owned, family owned” business, is run by Peckham and her two daughters, Hillary and Keeley, writes the Lewisboro Ledger.

“This is a huge victory for us, for women-owned and family-owned businesses, and for New York State!” the company wrote on its Facebook page.

The company’s manufacturing facility “will cover over 22,000 square feet, and will be fully equipped to accomplish the entirety of both the cultivation and production processes,” according to the company.

Etain hopes to have its manufacturing facility operational by January of next year, and it expects to begin hiring more workers in the near future.
