Kayak for a Cause! The Nyack Homeless Project's Annual Event is Sept. 28

WHAT: The Hook Mountain Challenge is a kayak race event to benefit the Nyack Homeless Project.

WHEN: The 12-mile race starts at noon Sept. 28; the 6-mile race starts at 12:30PM. Rain date is Oct. 5.

WHY: Last year the Nyack Homeless Project gave to 8,500 adults who lacked winter coats and toiletries, parents in need of food for families, pre-school children and teens without warm hats and gloves, and soup kitchens in short supply at over 45 different breakfast/ afterschool programs, women’s shelters, family pantries, childcare centers, homeless programs, runaway teen shelters, and homebound organizations in Rockland County.
