Man Charged In Nyack Plaza Shooting: Orangetown Police

The incident happened Friday evening.

NYACK, NY — A Nyack man faces criminal charges stemming from a shooting incident Friday at 100 Nyack Plaza.

Orangetown police were sent to the apartments at about 8:30 p.m. Friday after a report of gunfire. They found a wounded man who was transported to Westchester Medical Center.

On Saturday, Eddie Sanchez, 61, was arrested by Orangetown police. He was arraigned and sent to the Rockland County Jail.

He faces charges of first-degree assault, a felony, and second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors.
