Memorial Service is Sept. 6 for Dianna Sanders

Dianna Dale Sanders loved travel, watching bull riding and most of all, her family. On August 22nd, Dianna passed away at home following a long battle with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). Dianna married her high school sweetheart and husband of nearly 42 years in Greenwich, Ohio. They weren’t afraid to move for the right opportunity and life took them to many interesting places. They lived in Georgia, the Chicago area, Regina, Saskatchewan in Canada before making Nyack, NY home in 1991. She traveled extensively on six continents with an enthusiastic interest in new cultures.
Dianna is survived by her husband Dr. Martin P. Sanders. Dianna took great joy in raising her four children, Bo Sanders of Los Angeles (married to Christie Sanders); Amie Sanders of Philadelphia; Eric Sanders of Austin, TX; and Lauren Pupik of Philadelphia (married to Nick Pupik). She is also survived by her siblings Kenny Dimick and Karen Fink of Willard, OH and predeceased by her parents, Jess and Beth Dimick of Greenwich, OH.
A memorial service to celebrate Dianna will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 3:00pm at Goodwill Church, in Montgomery, NY. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Dianna Sanders’ name to a homeless charity close to her heart, MHASP, 7200 Chestnut Street, Upper Darby, PA 19082 or CurePSP.org.
