Newburgh Woman Accused of Felony DWI in Nyack

Police said she ran a stop sign.

Jamie Robinson, 31, was pulled over by an Orangetown police officer on South Franklin Street in Nyack at 1:25 a.m. March 9 for a traffic violation. Police said she ran a stop sign. 

Police said she showed signs of intoxication, including watery, glassy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. She failed field sobriety tests and was taken to Orangetown police headquarters, where she refused to take a chemical breath test.

She has a previous DWI conviction from 2010, police said.

The Newburgh resident was charged with felony DWI and several traffic infractions and arraigned in Nyack village court. She was released on $400 bail.
