SAVIK & MURRAY

For over 23 years, Savik & Murray built the specialized knowledge of airport runway design and repair, working closely with the FAA and the operating entities of airports in the New York area. Combined with DCAK-MSA’s strengths in transportation facility design, the company will now offer a single point of contact for airport design and rehabilitation.

Headquartered on Long Island, it was inescapable for Savik & Murray to be immersed in the unique world of marine civil engineering of harbors, bulkheads, marinas and drainage improvements, from Islip and Babylon to the Hamptons.

“Savik & Murray brings to us the know-how in municipal roadway design and drainage systems, the areas that will enhance DCAK-MSA’s array of municipal services,” said Matthew Sheffield, the principal engineer with DCAK-MSA. “Equally valuable is their knowledge of athletic facilities for educational institutions, that will be combined with DCAK’s educational, athletic and recreational architecture portfolio.
