Nyack Farmers Market Cuts Hours Due To Heat Advisory

But don't skip the trip, because it's peaches. And tomatoes. And corn.

NYACK, NY — Given the weather forecast for Thursday, Nyack market officials have announced shorter hours for this week's market.

"Due to the extreme heat in this week's forecast, Nyack Farmers Market will operate on a reduced schedule of 8AM to NOON on Thursday, August 4, 2022 for the safety of our vendors, staff, and customers," they said.

But don't skip the trip. Among the delicious and delightful produce to choose from will be veggies including summer squash, sweet corn, greens, potatoes, tomatoes; fruit including peaches, nectarines and plums.

Remember, the Artopee Lot is free during market hours, street parking is free before 10 a.m., and the meters are in effect Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Don't park in the M&T Bank parking lot.
