Nyack Farmers Market Starts Winter Hours

Time to get everything for holiday feasts and treats!

NYACK, NY — Winter hours commence this week at the Nyack Farmers Market.

"We will open at 9 a.m. and close at 1 p.m. as we operate outdoors in the winter weather to provide a year round, outdoor steady connection to farms, food, friends and fun for our community," organizers said.

The winter market is open Dec. 15 and 22 but closed Christmas Week, on Dec. 29. The first market of 2023 will be Jan. 5.

Stop By and Say Farewell to Marty and Thelma!

After 12 years of providing the community with 100 percent grass-feed beef and other fine products, Marty and Thelma of Kiernan Farm are retiring. This is their last week. Please stop by and wish them well.

On Dec. 22, Campanelli Poultry Farm will expand their offerings. In addition to their pasture-raised chicken (all cuts), eggs, chicken meatballs, burgers, and sausage links, they will have lamb, beef and pork.

Festoon on Bluefield Farm will be at the market this week providing some seasonal decorations for your holiday table.

Remember, parking in the Artopee Lot is free during market hours, and street parking is free before 10 a.m. Meters throughout the village are in effect Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Farmers Market vendors and patrons: please do not park in the M&T Bank parking lot.
