Nyack Firefighter Dies Responding To Call
David Jahnes had been a member of the department since 2001.
NYACK, NY — Nyack firefighter David Jahnes died Monday while responding to a call. The noxious odor call was to 20 North Broadway in Nyack before 9 a.m.
Jahnes joined the Nyack Fire Department in 2001 and was a member of Fire Patrol who served as Captain from 2008 to 2011.
Funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as they become available, the department said on Facebook.
