Nyack Firefighters Rescue Woman from Hudson -- for a 2nd Time

She walked in with her clothes on.

For the second time in two weeks, a woman has walked into the Hudson River with her clothes on and been rescued by firefighters.

Nyack Fire Chief Vince Reid told photojournalist Peter Carr of The Journal News that she went out farther this time than last week. The river is bitterly cold, he said, and hypothermia had probably set in.

She was taken to Nyack Hospital.
