Nyack Man Accused Of Driving Drunk Tuesday Morning
State police said he was in an accident on I-287.
ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — A Nyack man was accused of driving drunk Tuesday morning after a 1-car crash on Interstate 287.
State police said they were called to the crash in Hillburn at 10:22 a.m. and found a 2021 Jeep Cherokee disabled in the left lane. It apparently had struck the guide rail.
The driver was uninjured. Police said he appeared to be intoxicated.

Fredy A. Mazariego Martinez, 37, was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Tarrytown, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal limit. He was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
Mazariego Martinez was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the village of Hillburn Court on Feb. 10.
