“‘Dying Green’ is about one man’s quest to live green and die green. It’s important to consider how our burial practices impact the environment and question its sustainability,” said Kerry Potter, Founder, Dying to Bloom. “Many are starting to consider eco-friendly choices when it comes to death. People are forgoing commercial burial practices that involve dangerous embalming chemicals and are making more personal tributes while returning to the earth naturally, benefitting the planet by leaving it cleaner and greener.”
There will be three showings of the film Saturday, April 22, at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, followed by discussion. Dying to Bloom is open Thursday-Sunday from 11:00am–5:00pm. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to register via Eventbrite (click here). Refreshments will be served.
