NYACK, NY — Before you know it, the 2021-22 school year will be starting. The first day of classes for the Nyack school district is Thursday, Sept. 9.

Weather make-up dates to be taken in the following order, if necessary:
Five snow days are built into the school calendar in the event that schools must be closed for bad weather. If closings exceed five days before Mid-Winter recess, Friday, February 25, Thursday, February 24 and Wednesday, February 23 will be used in that order as school days. Additional vacation time may be created at the end of May if snow days are not used. Single session dates in June may be extended to meet State calendar requirements.
