Nyack Street Fair To Be Followed By 9/11 Ceremony On Sunday
Many local businesses held their ground during the pandemic, plus new ones have stepped in, bringing new life to the village.

NYACK, NY — Nyack's SeptemberFest Street Fair is back in this post-pandemic era. It is set for Sunday, and it will be followed by the village's annual 9/11 Hometown Heroes memorial ceremony.
The fair hosted by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Main Street and Broadway, rain or shine
Local businesses and more than 200 vendors will offer jewelry, clothing, accessories, art, crafts, gifts. Plus there will be lots of food and music. Fest-goers can also sample shops and restaurants. Many of Nyack's businesses held their ground during the pandemic, plus new ones have stepped in, bringing new life to the village.

“The 2022 fall fair is in many ways a celebration of our collective resilience,” said Roger Cohen, president of the Nyack Chamber. “Despite the tragedies and challenges we’ve faced in recent years as a community and a nation, we’re looking ahead and building for the future.”
After the fair, Nyack officials host the annual 9/11 Hometown Heroes memorial event. Testaments to bravery and resilience will be offered as local victims are remembered including Jon Albert, Welles Crowther, Stacey Sennas McGowan, Joe Stach and Harry Wanamaker.

The ceremony starts at 6:30 pm in Memorial Park.
