Nyack's Republican Presidential Campaign Contributions

Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Marco Rubio and Donald Trump haven't raised a lot of money in New York.

New York residents have donated more than twice as much money to Democrats as to the Republican candidates running for president.

GOP candidates have raised $10.4 million in the Empire State, compared to the Dems’ $24.5 million, according to Federal Election Commission campaign finance reports. Of course, Clinton is a New Yorker, domiciled in Chappaqua, and Sanders is next door.

Sen. Marco Rubio, who has raised the most in New York ($2.3 million), has two donors from Nyack. The most substantial was $750 from Walter Karopczyc.
