Orangetown Police Save Man Who had Overdosed
He was on the ground, on Main Street, in Nyack.

At 9:47 a.m. Dec. 7, the Orangetown Police Department received a 911 call reporting an individual in distress who had possibly overdosed on narcotics.
The officer dispatched to Main Street in Nyack found a 29-year-old man unconscious on the ground.
The officer administered Intranasal Naloxone to the victim and the individual’s condition improved dramatically — he regained consciousness in minutes, police said.

Rockland paramedics continued treatment on the victim and Nyack ambulance transported the victim to Nyack Hospital where he was in stable condition.
