Overnight Robbery In West Nyack: Clarkstown Cops Seek 2 Men

Clarkstown police ask homeowners and businesses in the area to check footage of surveillance cameras.

WEST NYACK, NY — Clarkstown police are searching for two men who robbed a gas-station convenience store Tuesday. Police said the robbery was at Mobil on the Run at 116 N. Route 303 in West Nyack.

It was reported by the victim at 3:25 a.m. that two men entered the store and one brandished what appeared to be a handgun. Both then came around the counter and demanded money from the 22-year-old clerk, who turned an undetermined amount of money over, police said.

The man holding the handgun struck the victim in the back of the head, causing no injury. Then both men ran from the store.

Police said the suspects were described by the victim as: dark skinned males, both wearing black masks covering up to their eyes.

Police ask the public to contact the Clarkstown Police at (845)639-5800 if they have any information or send an anonymous tip to TIP411. They also ask that any homeowners or business in the area that have surveillance cameras to review them and contact the CPD with any suspicious activity that might have been recorded.
